Class policies
Reschedule: once, with 48 hours' notice, into a class within 60 days.
No-show or late arrival (15+ min): full forfeit, no refund.
Refunds: classes are non-refundable. See Refund Policy.
Waiver: all attendees sign our Liability Waiver before booking.
A Basics of Pistol Shooting class, paid forward. Your donation covers a full Basics seat for someone in the AYF community who could not otherwise afford it. Recipients are selected from our community waitlist and contacted directly once funding is confirmed.
What your donation covers:
- One Basics of Pistol Shooting seat
- Firearm, ammunition, and safety gear for the recipient
- Full access to the class guide and post-class support
Who receives these lessons: Community members referred through AYF's mutual-aid network, organizing partners, and direct outreach. Priority goes to first-time shooters with clear safety or self-defense needs.
Waiver note: Sponsored students complete our Liability Waiver & Release of Claims before their class, just like any paying student. Donors do not need to sign a waiver.
