Refund policy
This Refund Policy applies to all goods and services sold by Arm Your Friends LLC ("AYF," "we," "us"). By placing an order, you agree to this Policy.
1. Training Classes, Range Days, and Private Sessions — Non-Refundable
1.1 All payments for training classes, range days, private sessions, alumni events, and run-club events are final and non-refundable. This includes single classes, training bundles, and pre-paid packages.
1.2 The exclusive remedy for missing a class for which you have paid is to reschedule into a future open seat, subject to the conditions in Section 2.
2. Reschedules
2.1 You may reschedule a class once, into the next available equivalent class within sixty (60) days, provided you give us at least forty-eight (48) hours' written notice before the original class start time, by emailing contact@armyourfriends.com from the email on your order.
2.2 If you reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, miss the class entirely, or reschedule a second time, the class fee is forfeited in full.
2.3 Rescheduled seats are subject to availability. If no equivalent class is available within sixty (60) days, AYF may, at its sole discretion, issue a non-refundable credit toward a future purchase.
3. No-Shows and Late Arrivals
3.1 No-shows forfeit the class fee in full. No credit, refund, or reschedule will be offered.
3.2 You must arrive at the published class start time. Arrival more than fifteen (15) minutes after the published start time will be treated as a no-show at the instructor's sole discretion, including forfeiture of the class fee, because safety briefings cannot be repeated for late arrivals.
3.3 If AYF cancels a class (e.g., for weather, range closure, or insufficient enrollment), you will be offered a reschedule into a future class or, at your option, a full refund to the original payment method.
4. Bundles and Multi-Class Packages
4.1 Bundles (such as the Pistol Training Bundle 3-Class Package) are sold at a discount in exchange for committed enrollment. The discount is forfeited if any class in the bundle is missed without a valid reschedule per Section 2.
4.2 Bundles are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Unused classes after that date are forfeited with no refund.
5. Memberships
Memberships are governed by the separate Subscription & Cancellation Policy and are non-refundable except as stated there.
6. Apparel and Accessories
6.1 Most apparel is made to order through our print-on-demand and in-house production process. Because each item is produced after you order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for (a) wrong size when the size you selected was delivered correctly, (b) "I changed my mind," (c) "It doesn't fit how I expected," or (d) any reason other than a manufacturing defect or our error.
6.2 Please consult the Sizing Guide before ordering. We provide flat measurements for every fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
6.3 If you receive the wrong item, the wrong size relative to what you ordered, or a manufacturing defect, contact contact@armyourfriends.com within seven (7) days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of (a) the defect, (b) the size tag, and (c) the shipping label. We will replace the item or issue a refund at our sole discretion.
7. Range Targets, Stickers, and Other Goods
7.1 Range targets, stickers, hats, and other ready-made goods may be returned unused, in original packaging, within fourteen (14) days of delivery.
7.2 Return shipping is at the buyer's expense.
7.3 A 15% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund.
7.4 Defective items follow the same process as Section 6.3.
8. Refund Method and Timing
8.1 Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We do not refund to a different card, account, or store credit unless the original method is no longer available.
8.2 Refunds are processed within ten (10) business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.
9. Donations
Cash donations and physical donations of training materials (via the Amazon wishlist) are non-refundable.
10. Chargebacks
10.1 If you have a billing concern, contact us first at contact@armyourfriends.com. We respond within two (2) business days and resolve the vast majority of issues without escalation.
10.2 Initiating a chargeback without first contacting AYF is a breach of this Policy and our Terms of Service. We will dispute any chargeback filed in breach of this section and may recover the disputed amount, the bank's chargeback fee, and reasonable costs of collection (including attorney's fees) from you.
10.3 Your checkout-page acknowledgment of this Refund Policy, your order confirmation email, our shipping records, and (for classes) our attendance records constitute sufficient evidence of the validity of each charge and will be submitted to your bank, card issuer, or card network in response to any chargeback.
11. Disputes
Any dispute arising out of this Refund Policy is governed by the dispute-resolution terms in our Terms of Service, including binding individual arbitration in Harris County, Texas, and waiver of jury trial and class action.
