Women's Firearms Training Classes in Houston
Firearms training built around women, taught by women
Most gun ranges in Houston were not built with women in mind. Arm Your Friends was. Our women led classes are taught by Andrea, a Latina firearms instructor who has walked hundreds of first time shooters through their first magazine. No egos on the line. No one talking down to you. Real instruction from someone who remembers her own first class.
What Arm Your Friends is
We are a Black owned community firearm training collective in Houston, Texas. We teach responsible gun ownership to the people the industry has ignored. Women, LGBTQ+ folks, Black and brown communities, and anyone who wants to learn in a room where they are welcome. There are no sponsors and no NRA money behind any of this. The club runs on the people in it.
Your first class, covered
Basics of Pistol Shooting runs $125 to $145 and includes everything. The firearm, the ammo, eye and ear protection, range fees. You bring yourself. Classes stay small and at least three instructors supervise every live fire session, so you are never on the line alone.
What happens after class
Graduates become alumni. Alumni get invited to monthly range days, Thursday practice nights, and a community that keeps training together. One class is a skill. A crew is safety.
