Meet Andrea: the instructor women ask for by name
Plenty of women want to learn to shoot. Fewer want to learn from a stranger at a counter who talks past them. Andrea is a Latina firearms instructor in Houston who leads our women led classes, and her teaching style is built on one idea. Nobody gets left behind on the line.
Her classes
Basics of Pistol Shooting is where most students start. $125 to $145 covers the firearm, the ammo, eye and ear protection, and range fees. Small groups. At least three instructors on the line during live fire. Most of Andrea's students have never held a gun before class, and that is exactly who the class is for.
Who we are
Arm Your Friends is a Black owned firearm training collective in Houston. Independent, community run, no NRA money. We train women, LGBTQ+ folks, and communities of color because everyone deserves to feel safe learning this skill.
