Intermediate Pistol Shooting + Self-Defense Concepts

This 50-round class is for students who have completed Basics of Pistol Shooting + Safety Fundamentals and are ready to build real-world handling skills. You’ll train to:
- Present your pistol from compressed high ready and low ready
- Safely toggle a weapon-mounted light during a string (if equipped)
- Apply fundamentals under light pressure and self-diagnose shot performance
This is a paced, skill-building environment — not a tactical simulation. You’ll fire short strings with target checks and feedback between each set. The goal is control, consistency, and readiness.
Students must bring their own handgun, configured the way they intend to carry or use it.
Required:
- Semi-automatic pistol
- 50 rounds of ammo
- Eye and ear protection
- Close-toed shoes
- Pants or shorts with belt loops (no athletic shorts)
- Clothing suitable for movement and standing for extended periods
Strongly recommended: Weapon-mounted light
Required pre-class reading: Intermediate Pistol Shooting + Self-Defense Concepts
You will be expected to understand this material before class begins.
