Black Firearms Instructor in Houston

Learn from someone who gets it

For a lot of Black Houstonians, the barrier to firearm training was never interest. It was walking into a range where nobody looks like you and wondering how the room will read you. Arm Your Friends was founded by a Black firearms instructor to remove that question entirely.

Who teaches

Our founder, a Black firearms instructor, leads classes alongside a full crew, including Andrea, the Latina instructor who runs our women led classes. At least three instructors supervise every live fire session. You learn from people who remember what their own first class felt like.

The classes

Basics of Pistol or Rifle runs $125 to $145 and covers everything. The firearm, the ammo, eye and ear protection, range fees. No experience needed, no gear to buy first.

Independent by design

Black owned. Community run. No sponsors and no NRA money. That independence is why the training stays honest and the room stays welcoming.
