Basics of Rifle Shooting + Safety Fundamentals

A structured introduction to safely and accurately operating an AR-15-pattern rifle. Designed for first-time rifle shooters, new AR owners, and anyone transitioning from pistol fundamentals to the rifle platform.

What you'll learn:

• The Four Rules of Firearm Safety applied to rifle handling
• AR-15 anatomy — upper, lower, charging handle, bolt carrier group, magazine
• Safe loading, unloading, chamber checks, and a basic bolt-override malfunction clear
• Standing, kneeling, and prone positions
• Sight picture, natural point of aim, and trigger press on a rifle
• A progressive course of fire at 10 to 25 yards
