Intermediate Pistol Shooting + Self-Defense Concepts

The next step after Basics. This class introduces ready positions, weapon-mounted light discipline, and light decision-making under coaching — with the pistol setup you actually plan to carry or keep at home.

Prerequisite: Completion of Basics of Pistol Shooting + Safety Fundamentals (or equivalent, instructor-approved).

What you'll learn:

• Presentation from Compressed High Ready and Low Ready
• Weapon-mounted light activation, aim, and discipline in live fire
• Target transitions under mild decision pressure (instructor callouts)
• Self-diagnostic grouping analysis after every 5-round string
• A 50-round diagnostic course of fire from 3 to 7 yards

What's included: Eye and ear protection, coaching, and written post-class feedback. Bring your own pistol — this class is built around training with your actual carry or home-defense setup. Bring your weapon-mounted light if you run one. 50 rounds of ammunition required.

Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours on the range.
